On 7 March, citizens of Tajikistan were holding a protest in front of the government building, claiming that they have worked in Armenia, yet haven’t received their salaries.
“We sowed cotton in Araks village near Etchmiadzin, but Gagik Khachikyan hasn’t paid us our money for the past six months now. If there are laws on this, let the government pay us our money. Our families are waiting for us in Tajikistan,” one of the citizens said.
According to the citizen, they are 10 Tajiks in number. Five of them managed to return to Tajikistan without any pay, while the rest are demanding their salaries so that they can return to Tajikistan.
