YEREVAN.- A Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has finished the examination of the motion to prolong the pre-trial detention of 2nd President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan by 2 months.

The court will publish the decision over Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan’s preventive measure on March 15 at 3 p.m., Kocharyan’s attorney Hayk Alumyan said after court hearing on Thursday.

“Robert Kocharyan gave explanations for about 40 minutes, presented in details what happened starting from February 19 till March 2, 2008. I think our arguments are quite grounded,” Alumyan said.
