YEREVAN Court of Appeal will publish decision over the petition of lawyers of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan on changing preventive measure on April 11 at 12.30 p.m., lawyer Hayk Alumyan told the reporters after the court hearing on Wednesday.
Alumyan said Kocharyan delivered an extended speech at the hearing. The lawyer said Kocharyan did not say anything new in his speech, but described the details, repeated his statements voiced at previous court hearings.
“Nothing new has been voiced at court today. He repeated what he was telling during the previous court hearings,” Alumyan said.
Kocharyan is charged under part 1 of Article 300.1 and point 2 of part 4 of Article 311 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia for overthrowing constitutional order and receiving a bribe in particularly large amounts.
