YEREVAN. – They should have said, ‘Why did Tsarukyan go to Ararat Province?” instead of saying Tsarukyan’s car [license plate] number was red, black, or white.
Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman and head of its National Assembly faction—tycoon MP—Gagik Tsarukyan on Tuesday told about the aforementioned to reporters in parliament. He noted this commenting on the remark that he recently traveled to Ararat Province in a car with a diplomatic license plate.
“[The license plate of this car] was red [for diplomats] because if a person doesn’t have friendship, circles, he can’t understand,” the PAP leader said. “This was a sign of friendly relations, trust that Tsarukyan’s [car’s license plate] numbers were Belarusian numbers. All of you know the connection, the respect, the trust [he has in Belarus].”
And asked if diplomatic license plates are given because of friendship, Gagik Tsarukyan responded: “Contact the embassy; there they will tell you how the [respective] documents are processed.”
