Judge Anna Danibekyan announced the decision on the motion submitted on Tuesday by the lawyers of the Armenian second President Robert Kocharyan.
The lawyers requested the release of the ex-president on bail, the size of the bail was left to the discretion of the court. However, the lawyers asked to take into account the real financial situation of the family.
The judge rejected the motion on Thursday. The next hearing is scheduled for November 12.
