The court denied the motion of the attorneys of head of the State Oversight Service of Armenia Davit Sanasaryan (powers are temporarily suspended) to suspend case proceedings and forward the case to the Constitutional Court.
“The court didn’t come to the conclusion that there is a discrepancy between your arguments and the Constitution,” Judge Davit Balayan said.
Members of Sasna Tsrer Pan-Armenian Party, led by Zhirayr Sefilyan, are also in the courtroom to express their support to Davit Sanasaryan.
As reported earlier, the trial over the case of Head of the State Oversight Service Davit Sanasaryan (powers are temporarily suspended) and former employees of the State Oversight Service is taking place today under the chairmanship of Judge Davit Balayan at Yerevan court of general jurisdiction.
