A farewell ceremony of the legendary intelligence officer Gohar Vardanyan took place on Friday at the Troyekurovskoye Cemetery in Moscow.

The ceremony was attended by Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, Acting Director of the National Security Council of Armenia Eduard Martirosyan, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin, Armenian ambassador to Russia Vardan Toganyan, representatives of the delegations of the National Security Service and the Armenian Defense Ministry, etc. Gohar Vardanyan passed away on November 25, she was 93 years old.
