The Special Investigation Service of Armenia has summoned head of the Bright faction of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Davit Khazhakyan to appear tomorrow. This is what Davit Khazhakyan informed live on Facebook.

“Today I received a phone call from the Special Investigation Service and was summoned to the Service tomorrow to give an explanation since the Service is examining cases regarding expiry of official powers and official fraud,” he said.

During the session of the Council of Elders, Davit Khazhakyan had reported on a crime against Hayk Marutyan to the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to Khazhakyan, Deputy Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan was on vacation with Mayor Hayk Marutyun, and the functions of the mayor were carried out by Deputy Hayk Sargsyan who didn’t have the right to carry out those functions and adopted about 70 acts.
