During a conversation with reporters today, former head of the State Supervision Service of Armenia (powers are temporarily suspended) Davit Sanasaryan touched upon the statement that there are traitors within the law-enforcement authorities and said former director of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan is behind his criminal case.

“The law-enforcement authorities are the only state institutions that haven’t undergone many reforms since the employees are the same. I’m not saying Vanetsyan trumped up the case, but I know he was behind it. I don’t even want to talk about him in court,” Sanasaryan said.

Based on the court’s indictment, Davit Sanasaryan used his official position contrary to the interests of service and failed to perform his official duties.
