Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan went live on Facebook, touched upon the spread of coronavirus and declared that he won't be campaigning for the constitutional referendum tomorrow.

“If necessary, we’ll announce other events after consultations,” the Prime Minister said, adding that he will interrupt his leave and start consultations devoted to prevention of the coronavirus.

“Tomorrow I will interrupt my leave and get to work to understand the coronavirus situation since Armenia has recorded two cases of coronavirus linked to yesterday’s diagnosis. They were isolated, meaning these cases are not new. The Ministry of Healthcare has asked everyone to see a doctor in case of symptoms several times, but unfortunately, it’s not always that people follow the advice.

Earlier, Pashinyan had said that Armenia has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus. Currently, there is a total of six cases of coronavirus in Armenia.
