YEREVAN. – Three people working at the same workshop who tested positive for coronavirus are natives of Shengavit district of Yerevan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in the parliament.

Pashinyan, however, added that not all people who are in contact with the patients will be necessarily infected. He said that 28 out of 31 people quarantined on March 1 tested negative for coronavirus.

The Armenian government decided to declare the state of emergency during a special session on Monday. The issue was debated during a special session of the Armenian parliament.

Armenia has confirmed 30 cases of coronavirus.
