YEREVAN. – Armenia has no food security problems; we have quite a lot of food supplies. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at today's session of the government of Armenia.

According to him, for example, as of two days ago, Armenia has a 201-day supply of sugar. "We have a 64-day supply of chicken-meat, 38-day supply of [cooking] oil," he added. “At the same time, 38 truckloads of food (…) entered Armenia on the 18th of the month alone.

We are also fully secured with gasoline and diesel fuel, too, and it is being imported right now."

The Armenian Prime Minister also noted that a significant drop in purchases was recorded yesterday, as people had purchased so many things and filled their homes with them that it would now be difficult to get them, even if they wanted to.
