No country is as irresponsible for the coronavirus situation as Armenia. This is what member of the Republican Party of Armenia Karine Atchemyan told reporters today.

Atchemyan said this situation favors the authorities since it allows them to go against the law and try to meet their political objectives on the background of the issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic such as illegally cancelling the illegally designated constitutional referendum and illegally replacing the members of the Constitutional Court.

In his turn, leader of the Reformists Party Vahan Babayan added that Armenia is reporting record-setting numbers of coronavirus cases every day due to the incompetent management of Nikol Pashinyan and his team.

“The authorities failed to combat the coronavirus. They need to realize this, resign and transmit power to competent people. The opposition parties must launch this process in parliament,” he said, adding that during the administration of the previous government it was impossible to see how a particular official, including the health minister make mutually exclusive statements in a short period of time.
