This is what head of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Lilit Makunts told reporters today, touching upon the question whether the Prosecutor General will submit a motion to the National Assembly to deprive Gagik Tsarukyan of parliamentary immunity and what the My Step faction has decided to do, if this happens.
“When the Prosecutor General’s Office submits a motion to the National Assembly with relevant grounds, the My Step faction will convene a session and make a decision. We are going to convene a session either way because the four-day sessions will begin tomorrow. Before speaking to reporters, I didn’t know if a motion had been submitted or not. However, if it is filed, we will discuss the issue during our session,” she said.
