Touching upon the protests held by supporters of Prosperous Armenia Party yesterday, head of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Lilit Makunts today told reporters that, based on what she saw during the live broadcast, she didn’t think police officers had committed unlawful acts.

“I’m saying this as a person who has witnessed how unlawful police officers’ actions can be, including actions against women and reporters. In this case, I saw the opposite and how police officers were trying to convince the protesters to maintain order within the limits of their powers,” she said.
