YEREVAN. – Today the situation is dire in all domains. Yes, they have failed the epidemic. Don't forget anything! You have done [it]—not everyone who had the right to make a decision. Parliamentary opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader, MP, and business tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan mentioned this in his speech in the National Assembly Tuesday, during the parliament debates on the prosecutor general’s petitions to strip him of his parliamentary immunity, launch criminal proceedings against him, and take him into custody.

"No one should try to say that today Tsarukyan wants to collect dividends, Tsarukyan wants for personal gain. (…). Look at what Tsarukyan did against the epidemic. (…). We are ready to resolve problem 24 hours a day. Either you don't know, or you don't understand, or they don't allow it.

I brought $20 billion for the country—ask [Central Bank now former governor Arthur] Javadyan, ask [PM Nikol] Pashinyan—for the economic revolution to develop; there is no economic revolution without investing money.

But the people, the same ones who brought the revolution to him, have been waiting for 1-2 years already," Tsarukyan also said.

He added: "I have said I will not back down from my principle. I love this country; I did everything unselfishly.”
