Criminal proceedings will be implemented for each case of unlawful outflow of information, and you will all be informed. This is what Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan stated in his concluding speech during a discussion on the issue of stripping Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan of parliamentary immunity in parliament today.

“I regret to say that Chairperson of the Standing Committee on the Protection of Human Rights of the National Assembly Naira Zohrabyan always makes offensive remarks in her speeches, and I think both she and her colleagues need to think about this.

As far as the disclosure of phone talks is concerned, again, upon her demand, I promise that the public will be informed about all the circumstances,” Davtyan said, adding that deputies need to stay within their limits and perform their functions provided for by law.

“If you want to express lack of confidence in me, go ahead, but don’t go over the limit in your speeches,” Artur Davtyan said and told one of the deputies of the Prosperous Armenia Party to choose his words carefully when addressing him.
