Yerevan court of general jurisdiction is considering the petition of arrest of Prosperous Armenia party, MP Gagik Tsarukyan.

Gagik Tsarukyan is charged with obstructing the will of voters, however, the MP does not admit his guilt.

The Armenian parliament on Tuesday gave a green light to the arrest of Gagik Tsarukyan. Only 87 MPs from the My Step ruling bloc participated in the vote.

He was greeted in the courtyard by the PAP MPs. Armenian National Security Service ex-head Artur Vanetsyan is also present.

Tsarukyan entered the building accompanied by attorneys, while his supporters are waiting outside.
