At 2:41pm on June 18, the National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia received a report that smoke was observed in Khosrov Forest State Reserve.
According to preliminary data, about 15 hectares of grass was on fire.
The fire was contained at 7:19pm.
At 9:25pm, the firefighting was suspended due to darkness.
At 5:30am on Friday, the firefighting resumed.
A total of 84 rescuers and 16 employees of the reserve are at the scene.
