Deputy of the National Assembly Tigran Urikhanyan today addressed Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan and asked if the ruling party has envisaged a scenario, if, in any case, the constitutional amendments bill is adopted, but doesn’t enter into force.

In response, the minister said the ruling party hasn’t envisaged such a scenario since it takes into consideration the fact that the procedure is clearly regulated within the scope of the existing legislation, meaning it will obviously enter into force after adoption.

Tigran Urikhanyan responded by asking if there is no other opportunity to change the composition of the Constitutional Court, if the law doesn’t enter into force, to which the minister said the relations pertaining to the change of composition of the Constitutional Court are also regulated by the Armenian legislation.
