Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today had a meeting with the leaderships of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, under the leadership of Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan.

The top officers of the Armenian army presented the operative situation created as a result of the military operations of Azerbaijan in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone (in the direction of Tavush Province) over the past two days and the punitive actions that the Armed Forces of Armenia are taking to restrain the adversary’s actions.

The officers emphasized that the situation is under full control of the Armed Forces of Armenia.

The possible developments of the situation and the adequate actions of the Armed Forces were discussed during the meeting.

Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that the Armed Forces of Armenia are proving once again that nobody can talk to Armenia with force.
