In many cases, the military operations were carried out with mixed tactics, that is, offensive operations of other nature were also carried out by ground troops along with the strikes against missiles or UAVs. This is what ex-spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said during a press conference in Ijevan today.
“Two of the operations are the most obvious cases that we refer to as sabotage operations, but frankly, they are more than sabotage operations. In classic tactics, this is an attack. A hundred people make up almost a company. If we take into consideration the fact that they are special units, there are obviously more armaments and they are more ready. I’m also certain that, according to the rules of a classic company, 100 people weren’t supported by one artillery battery. There were probably a couple of divisions, meaning the volumes of attack were greater than the ones we have read about in classic tactics textbooks,” Artsrun Hovhannisyan emphasized.
