Yerevan Municipality offered the traders at the local produce market to sell their produce at the market on Komitas Avenue while the municipality tries to find a more convenient area, adding that the spaces will be free-of-charge. However, the traders refused and stated that their customers won’t come to the market on Komitas Avenue.

The negotiations continue. According to the municipal authorities, the produce stores in Yerevan’s Arabkir District had addressed Yerevan Municipality and complained that they can’t sell their products three days a week due to the existence of the produce market near their stores.
