Former Armenia Ambassador to the Vatican Mikayel Minasyan noted that he is not wearing masks amid the pandemic as every morning he collects some money to send it to [Armenian PM's spouse] Anna Hakobyan's foundation, 'buying the right spend a day without a mask.'

According to him, Pashinyan said that Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan uses state of emergency as does not want the opposition to gather because 'he is literally afraid.

As Minasyan noted, according to the laws of the Republic of Armenia, as long as there is an emergency state, the authorities are obliged to provide masks free of charge. 

"Therefore, if they are fining you for not having a mask, in fact, they should have provided that mask," he noted.

Minasyan asked his lawyer friends to clarify whether he was right or wrong.

"I have the impression that Nikol's regime uses a mask show to do something," he added.

"God bless us all, first of all peace to our people in Armenia and abroad," Minasyan added.
