The Commandant’s new decision is published on the restrictions and rules applied in Armenia due to the current state of emergency because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, the following key changes have been made:

General and higher education, as well as informal and continued education—in a number of areas—will resume.

But restrictions on extracurricular sports, arts, and culture groups are still in place.

Libraries and museums will reopen, and cultural events and film screenings shall be held outdoors.

From now on, TV presenters and sign language translators may not wear a face mask if they are alone in the TV pavilion during the broadcasting of TV program.

Live music shall be permitted outdoors.
