YEREVAN. – I propose let’s not to talk today about the April inquiry committee and the events that took place because I promised at the committee that if they at least provide me with my answers, I will not publish any opinion or question voiced in the committee. Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan said this Wednesday at his press conference, when asked how he assessed the setting up of the parliamentary inquiry committee on the April 2016 war.

"I even said [to them], 'If you give everything’—and they gave me everything—‘I promise not to publish anything until 2050, unless there is a very big extremeness.' It would be right for me to keep my promise.

I would like to add that the inquiry committee will present its report to the National Assembly; after that we will definitely have the opportunity to meet so that we either agree or disagree with the opinions of the committee," the third president of Armenia added.
