A collapse took place this morning in a 4-story building in Yerevan as a result of an explosion. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday noted about this on Facebook (PHOTOS).

"According to the initial theory, the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak. 12 apartments located on the same entrance partially collapsed.

19 residents came out of the collapsed part of the building on their own or with the help of rescuers. According to preliminary data, 3 people were left under the rubble. The rescuers took the two out. One was taken out minutes ago. Both are conscious.

In the morning I visited the scene and got acquainted with the situation on the spot. Rescue operations continue," Pashinyan added.
