YEREVAN. – At Friday’s special session of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, speaker Ararat Mirzoyan informed that the parliament had a new member.

"You remember that Mane Tandilyan resigned from her parliamentary mandate [due to health issues]. First of all, let's thank her for the cooperation and send best wishes to her.

The Central Electoral Commission has submitted Record No. 5 on granting the [parliamentary] mandate of Mane Tandilyan (…) to the next [MP] candidate, according to which the mandate will be given to Stepan Stepanyan, the next candidate who has received the highest number of votes on the No. 4 electoral list of the [opposition] Bright Armenia Party," Mirzoyan said in particular..

Subsequently, new MP Stepan Stepanyan took an oath from the NA rostrum.
