YEREVAN. – When the scheme of restoration of justice and the freedoms or appeal of investment are opposed, it is no good. Mikayel Melkumyan, a member of the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction in parliament and an economist by profession, stated this in a talk with journalists in the National Assembly Friday.
"Something extraordinary in the history of the Republic of Armenia happened in the first quarter of this year: Investments amounted to minus 18 billion drams, whereas there was no minus here even during the 2009 crisis. The outflow of these investments shows that there can be no word about any economic revolution," Melkumyan said.
