Armenia police on Monday received a call from the Gavar town hospital informing that a dead man had been admitted to the medical center

The law enforcement found out that the deceased was Khachik Safoyan, 65, and he had died from a gunshot wound.

The police found out also that on the same day, this man had gone hunting with his son. And while sitting in the car, his son had accidentally fired at his father, as a result of which the 65-year-old man had died.

The 36-year-old son was taken to the police station.

Two hunting rifles were found at the scene.

A report is being prepared on the incident.
