  • As of 11 am on Wednesday, 199 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of cases has reached 45,152 in the country.

Also, two more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total of 905 cases.

The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 431, the total respective number so far is 41,023, and the number of people currently being treated is 2,945.

And a total of 3,518 COVID-19 tests were conducted in Armenia over the past day, while 224,559 such tests have been performed to date.

  • Another new case of death from alcohol poisoning was recorded in Armenia in the past day. Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the minister of health, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this on Wednesday.

At the moment, five people are receiving treatment in hospitals, but no new cases of alcohol poisoning have been reported.

A total of 46 cases of alcohol poisoning had been registered in the country, and all of them were caused methyl alcohol.

According to him, however, there is no new special news in that regard.

The National Security Service of Artsakh urges citizens using social networks to be more careful and alert and avoid personal data, especially information about military service and persons in military service on social networks and in messages.
