Citizen Minas Martirosyan today went live on Facebook and declared a termless hunger strike with the demand for the resignation of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan. He posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Although I am on a hunger strike, as you can see, I am at home and am not spending the night near the government building since the government’s security officers promised me that they will consider my demands, that is, the resignation of Arayik Harutyunyan.

“Tomorrow, it is most likely that there will be a solution to the issue of Arayik Harutyunyan’s resignation tomorrow, I hope, if, of course, the security officers keep their word,” he said.

Martirosyan stated that even though he had reached a verbal agreement with government officials, he hopes the meeting will be held, and he will inform about that live on Facebook.
