Making educational reforms has never been easy in any country. Naturally, reforms cause uproar, but it’s very important to talk about content. This is what Mkhitar Hayrapetyan—a member of the majority My Step faction in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, and Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport — told reporters in parliament today.

Asked how he would assess the work of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan, Hayrapetyan said the following: “There are many forces that are trying to take advantage of the current situation and target my colleague, but they have forgotten that it is necessary to talk about content. The My Step parliamentary action fully supports Arayik Harutyunyan.”
