By the decree of President Armen Sarkissian, Armen Abazyan has been appointed Director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia, according to the official website of the President.
Abazyan, who held the position of Deputy Director of the NSS, was relieved of this post earlier by another presidential decree.
Previously, Armen Abazyan had served as head of the NSS Shirak provincial department.
