Armenian News - NEWS.am presents the latest news on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace deal signed late Monday.

• Heated discussions are taking place worldwide as PM Nikol Pashinyan signed late on Monday night a statement with the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia to end the war in Artsakh.

A total of 1,960 servicemen, 90 armored personnel carriers, 380 vehicles, and special equipment would be transported for the purpose of deploying peacekeeping troops in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

Four Russian Il-76 planes with servicemen of the 15th peacekeeping brigade have already landed at Erebuni Airport in Armenia, TASS reported, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The military-transport planes have transported more than 80 servicemen, armed personnel carriers, armored vehicles, and means of communication.

Russia will send at least 22 Il-76 military transport planes to Nagorno-Karabakh.

• The council of 17 Armenian political parties has made an announcement stating that the political parties are planning to hold a rally on November 11 amid the Nagorno-Karabakh peace deal.

"Unfortunately, the most shameful page of our history was written yesterday," they noted.

• Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on to assist the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Nikol Pashinyan, and Ilham Aliyev, in their determination to create conditions for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

According to him, 'what is happening in Nagorno-Karabakh is truly a great tragedy.'

In turn, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the sending of Russian peacekeepers to Nagorno-Karabakh has been carried out within the international law and on the basis of a 2015 decision of the Russian Federation Council that allows the Russian president to use armed forces outside Russia on the basis of universally recognized principles and norms of international law.

• Paris is studying the parameters of the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh and notes that any lasting agreement must take into account the interests of Armenia, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the Elysee Palace.

According to the statement, Turkey must stop its provocations in the region and refrain from any actions that could jeopardize the future agreement.

• Tehran is ready to help deploy Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, and to assist in achieving sustainable peace in the region, the Iranian MFA reported.

Iran reiterates its readiness to help ensure sustainable peace and security in the region, as well as its readiness to participate in regional initiatives.
