Russian President Vladimir Putin said there is a difficult humanitarian situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, as a result of the fighting the humanitarian infrastructure and cultural facilities were destroyed, RIA Novosti reported.

"Serious humanitarian issues have arisen in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. This has now been reported to us.
