YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met—in the government building with the majority My Step faction in parliament, My Step MP Arman Yeghoyan on Thursday said this in a conversation with journalists.

According to him, there were domestic and foreign policy issues on the agenda of this meeting. "We were talking about parliamentary diplomacy, the current state of the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] issue, the formats for discussion of the matter, and other related topics. It was a working discussion, various opinions were voiced, the prime minister wanted to hear our viewpoints, and we [wanted to hear] his," Yeghoyan said, without giving any other details.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities in and around Artsakh. Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. But this statement also stipulates the handover of part of Artsakh lands to Azerbaijan.
