The Vorotan and Arpa Rivers’ sources that feed Lake Sevan are now under the control of Azerbaijan. The Minister of Environment of Armenia, Romanos Petrosyan, told this to a press conference on Tuesday.

The minister explained that the sources of these rivers were in the Karvachar region. "We have studied all the reports of our compatriots, the concerns expressed by them, and, together with our comments, we have sent [them] to the Ministry of Defense and the RA [Republic of Armenia] Prime Minister's Office," Petrosyan added.
