The biggest challenge of the [recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war added to the coronavirus was the macroeconomic collapse, stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia.

"It is important to record that we [Armenia] were able to maintain macroeconomic stability, the international recognition of which was the growing issuance of eurobonds.

The most visible and tangible assessment is the approach of institutional investors, when they entrust the country, the government their investments. After all, this is an important indicator of trust.

This issuance [of eurobonds] was managed to be implemented with the lowest interest rate in the history of Armenia; this means that institutional investors believe firstly in the economic—understandably, also in the political—future of Armenia.

Today I held a consultation at the Ministry of Economy," Pashinyan on Tuesday wrote on Facebook.
