YEREVAN. – Gagik Isakhanyan, the assistant of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, also was on hand at the picket—outside the main building of the government—of the relatives of the missing servicemen.

Isakhanyan told reporters that he was participating in this demonstration in order to support the relatives of the missing. "The position doesn’t matter to me," Isakhanyan added.

Asked by a reporter whether he also shares the opinion that the government slow in its actions, PM Pashinyan's aide said: "There are shortcomings everywhere, together with the parents we must find and oversee those shortcomings. It is too early to talk about shortcomings because the media interfere a lot, both the parents and other issues. If I say the shortcoming, the adversary will know about it. …The media interfere a lot to both search operations and the work to bring the [Armenian] captives back [from Azerbaijan]. Because of the media, one of the captives who was to return was replaced at the last minute because for some reason, everyone was waiting for that child, but that child was replaced at the last moment and someone else came."

To note, Gagik Isakhanyan was appointed Prime Minister Pashinyan's assistant on January 21.
