A trial hearing on the complaint of lawyers against Armenia's Special Investigation Service (SIS) has been postponed to February 26.
The head of the Chamber of Advocates Ara Zohrabyan noted that a report was submitted to the prosecutor's office about the accusation of PM Nikol Pashinyan of high treason following the Nagorno-Karabakh war. The message was forwarded to the Special Investigative Service.
On December 22, 2020, over 100 lawyers submitted a message to the Armenian Prosecutor General with a request to initiate a criminal case on the fact of committing a criminal act amid high treason. The report referred to events that took place before the war, during the war, and after the war, which apparently indicates the possibility of high treason.
