YEREVAN. – The police have surrounded the main office of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

Also, the RPA representatives informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the police did not allow people to enter or leave the aforesaid office.

"We managed to break through, reach (…), but they [the police] detained us just for standing," added Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the RPA youth wing.

As reported earlier, a large number of police forces have been concentrated in front of the government buildings since Tuesday morning, as the opposition had announced Monday that they would hold a protest outside the third building of the government because PM Nikol Pashinyan was to come to that building.
