YEREVAN. – We would like the process of returning the prisoners of war to go faster, and on the "all with all" principle. Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin told this to reporters on Tuesday.

According to him, the work of returning the POWs is difficult, but it is always done, including with the participation of Russia's top leadership.

He recalled that information regularly appears about the return of new groups of POWs.

And in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am's request to comment on the fact that the statements of the Russian leadership on the need to exchange the POWs on the "all with all" principle do not receive a response from Baku, and to the question why Azerbaijan does not fulfill the relevant point on the trilateral statement of November 9 last year, the Russian diplomat stated: "I am not a participant in that work; so it is difficult for me to comment [on it] in any detail. But I know one thing: work is being done in this regard."
