Actions of civil disobedience have taken place in various parts of Yerevan Thursday morning.

Citizens demanding Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan's resignation blocked several streets of the capital.

The police apprehended some citizens carrying out civil disobedience actions.

In particular, the protesters blocked Myasnikyan and Azatutyun Avenues.

Later, police began announcing—with loudspeakers—that these actions did not stem from the law on assemblies, and urged the people to reopen the road.

In addition, the protesters entered a subway station and prevented—while chanting "Nikol, the traitor"—a subway car from closing its doors and moving.
