Before the trilateral meeting that took place in Moscow on January 11, we had met with the foreign minister, who assured that the first point of the agreement envisages the signing of an agreement on the return of all prisoners of war and the bodies of the deceased, that is, no other point will be discussed until the return. This is what leader of the opposition Homeland Party Artur Vanetsyan told reporters at Baghramyan Avenue today.
“After that, we see Nikol Pashinyan sign a new document on unblocking of transport links, but there is nothing mentioned about the return of prisoners of war,” he added.
Asked if he would bring the prisoners of war back if he came to power, Vanetsyan said the following: “I pledge to bring back the prisoners of war in a matter of days, if I come to power. The incumbent authorities have failed and are unable to present our demands to Azerbaijan.”
