Most employees of the State Supervision Service of Armenia have refused to participate in the imposed march. This is what leader of the Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia Hayk Mamijanyan said during today’s awareness-raising demonstration held in front of the building of the State Supervision Service.

During the demonstration, council member of the opposition Homeland Party Sos Hakobyan said the State Supervision Service should be overseeing and disclosing the acts of misuse committed by the incumbent authorities. “We know that the incumbent authorities are taking advantage of their offices and the powers granted by the people to force citizens to come to rallies and dismiss citizens who attend the opposition’s assemblies. We citizens of the Republic of Armenia, as guarantors of the Constitution, won’t let the authorities violate the rights of our citizens,” he said.

Before reaching the building of the State Supervision Service, the demonstrators had entered the central district hall in Yerevan and urged the employees to not attend Pashinyan’s rally.
