The commemorative march held by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in memory of the victims of the events of March 1, 2008 ended near the statue of Myasnikyan in Yerevan. The participants of the march marched from Republic Square right after Pashinyan’s rally.

The situation was tense when the participants reached France Square where police formed a wall and didn’t let them move towards Marshal Baghramyan Avenue where the opposition was holding its rally. The participants of the march responded by whistling and using swear words and didn’t forget to chant the “dmp, dmp, hu” which was chanted during the revolution that took place in 2018.

During the march, the participants chanted “dmp, dmp, hu” a few times, and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan was particularly excited when it was being chanted.

Armenian News-NEWS.am’s cameraman spotted a picture of Nikol Pashinyan and flyers with the words “land giver” underneath the feet of the participants of the march.

The Prime Minister was escorted by his wife, Anna Hakobyan during the rally and the march that followed. After the march, the participants laid flowers near the statue of Myasnikyan.
