Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were vaccinated with the COVID-19 drug, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, the president announced that he would be vaccinated with a Russian drug.
Venezuelan doctors are currently being vaccinated with it.
“All studies say that the Russian vaccine generates a good immune response,” the president said.
