A group of residents of Ijevan, Armenia, closed off the Yerevan-Noyemberyan motorway.

They demanded a meeting with Tavush provincial governor Hayk Chobanyan to find out what is happening at their sector of the border with Azerbaijan.

One of the protesters said: "Today there is concern that territories may be handed over to the enemy. (…). With this [blockage of the motorway], we are trying to carry out acts of [civil] disobedience in order to keep the issue in the center of attention."

For a moment the passions ran high, as a group of people demanded to reopen the motorway.

And after being closed off for about 20 to 30 minutes, the road was reopened.
