The participants of Armenia’s opposition Homeland Salvation Movement’s rally stared their march from Marshal Baghramyan Avenue, will head to Sayat-Nova and Nalbandyan Streets and the government building and will end the march on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue.
During yesterday’s rally, demonstrators paid heed to the call of Vazgen Manukyan (the opposition movement’s candidate for Prime Minister of Armenia) and blocked the two entrances to the National Assembly and pitched tents near the entrances so that deputies couldn’t enter the parliament building.
However, the deputies entered the building through the economic entrance and convened sessions of parliamentary committees.
The opposition movement demands Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
